Still Kicking

Just reporting in to say that I'm still alive. I had an amaizing time in Nashville, it felt like I was there for a week, I have some pics to post but no computer to put them on. The last thing I saw on my lap top was "preparing to dump physical memory" in white writing covered by a blue background. As soon as I get that fixed I will post the pictures. I didn't realize how much I used my computer until this happened, I feel like my left elbow is missing. I've also decided that I'm doing my internship in NH. It may not seem like a suprise but its been a long road just to get it all figured out, now it just has to be approved (that's a "10 step" process-more like 100 steps though). Noting else new other than spring break starts on Friday, praise Jesus! Here's a fun video that has noting to do with the post. Not like the post has anyhting to do with the post (??) Your mind would truly have to be scared with the 80's song "I'm bringing sexy back" to truly appreciate this but either way it's still funny.

Looking Forward

The last few weeks have been mighty crazy but it's someting I've learned to accept that being a chronic student and all. Last week I began to entertain the thought of changing my internship site to a new plant in Boston (Reunion Christian Church). This is a great oppurtunity through the NewThing Network. I'm not sure where God is leading me on this, I'm just praying my way through all the options right now. Then on the weekend I helped out at the high school girls retreat then we had Randy's birthday party on Sunday. It was super exciting week but by the time I actually caught my breath from it all it's Friday (aka today). This weekend I'm looking after Hayley while everyone else goes to a marriage retreat. It's going to be lots of fun. She's at such a cute stage right now-everyday she discovers new words and her personality grows bigger and bigger. Whenever I see her she says "hi Jen". I'll admit that I often ignore her when I'm just going walking in to their place quick but she is so aware of everything that she comes right over to me and stands and waves until I wave and say "hi Hayley" back. We should have lots of fun for sure. Then next weekend I am really excited to see my brother. Lord willing, I'm going down to Nashville to meet up with him at a conference that he's presenting at. I've never been there but I've always wanted to go. And I love seeing my brother too! We get to stay at the Opryland Resort (Jeff's sweet hook up) and hang out doing other touristy things. I'm so thankful that God gives his people stuff to look forward to-it puts life in perspective and always reminds me that there's something good beyond what we know or plan for ourselves.
