What the FRIG!!!!Sometimes somethings just go too far and this has got to be the top. I read a article on yahoo news this morning about eye lash transplants, I'm not kidding. Transplanting eyelashes! The great part...it only costs $3000-per eye (not like your just gonna get one done). Soon cosmitic surgery will include toe nail adjustment, wait they already do that. Perhaps butt lifts, nope they do that too. Where will it end?
"More than 10 million cosmetic procedures -- from tummy tucks to botox -- were performed in the United States in 2005, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The figure represents a 38 percent increase over the year 2000."

EXALT!
How cool it is to serve such an amazing God! For months God has placed a message on my heart and I finally was able to share it. I have a huge call to share in gender specific ministry, especially in High School. God lead 60+ girls into my workshop where some of them were themselves for the first time in a long while. There is more of this to come. I'm not sure what's around the corner but I really hope that I can share this message with others. For those who emailed and commented, thank you and I will continue to pray that God will always hold your heart-as asked, the songs I used were....

I was listening to Christy Nockels "Knees to the Earth" just now and was reminded of something she said while she was leading worship at a Beth Moore conference this year. I remember her saying that this song came to her during "Downpour" (a College and Career massive event in TN). She went on to tell us that she was lead to write the song just minutes before she was going on to sing and as she came to the stage and looked out on the crowd she saw every person-probably 10,000 or more on their knees worshiping after they were lead by a speaker. I have no idea why I haven't thought of this song until today but it really captivates everything I want my journey to be about; kinda makes me want to start everyday on my knees asking for ways for God to blessed through me in the things I do, people I meet and decisisons I make. God shouldn't be the one always blessing us-we should be the ones blessing him. I'm not what CD she ever recorded this song on and even though worshiping through ripped music is strange try to find it and take a few moments.
Here's a bit...
Wonderful Saviour my heart belongs to thee...
Wonderful Saviour my heart will know your way...
Knees to the earth I bow down to everything you are...how may I bless your heart
So let me embrace you always as I walk this earth
So be blessed, be loved, be lifted high, be treasured here, be glorified, I owe my life to you my Lord-here I am...be blessed.

I suck at Tuesdays. They might as well not exist in my world. For the last few weeks I have made numerous committments on Tuesdays and constantly forget about them. I think this is an aging issue. Why else would it be that I only lose my mind on Tuesdays? Moral of the story: if you can help it just don't ask me to do anything on Tuesdays or for that matter don't even ask me to call you on Tuesdays becasue I'll forget to do that too (sorry Sara). I've heard Ginko is good for the memory..perhaps I should try that-I'd probably forget to take it on Tuesdays though?!? Frig.

Anyone??
Has anyone out there heard to the GOD'S WORD translation. I've been out of the Lincoln bubble for a while and had no idea that it even existed. When I was in Blessings today the display cleared out faster than they could shelve them (so I didn't even get to see one). I googled it but I'd like to know if anyone else knows anything because we are trying to find a translation for our youth group and this sounds good. Email me if you have a heads up.

Run for the Cure
Yesterday was a huge day for our family. Mom, Dad, Kelly, Cowen and I all went to Halifax to join Jeff in his Run for the Cure efforts. Jeff and another guy organized Canada's first all male team (the girls went to keep it organized). It was awesome! Jeff's team had over 70 guys participating with pledge totals over $5000, just from their team. Cowen wasn't really a fan of the overwelming testosterone at times but all in all everything went well and we had a great day together for an increadable organization. Here are some pics.
