How old are you???

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a fan of math but my sister loves it, so much so that she teaches high school math. She sent this to me and I hate when math can actually do cool things, it still doesn't make math cool!
If you suck at math like I do you will need a calculator.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2
3. Add 5
4. Multiply it by 50
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1756 ....
If you haven't, add 1755
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born
You should have a three digit number
The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week)
The next two numbers are YOUR AGE!

Light unto my path

Well after the longest school year of my life I arrived home last week. Missing flights, rebooking flights and more delayed flights. What can I say? I hate planes and everything that has to do with trying to get home. The good news is that it's been great to take a break and enjoy my time without thinking of school work. My favorite (and sometimes only) way to relax is by going to our camp. I love going up there and doing nothing, it's on a beautiful lake with a great beach and there's nothing else to do but relax. So Sat. night while my mom and dad were inside I noticed a party boat dock on our beach. My adventurous nature kicked in and I was bound to check it out. The water level is still really high so we haven't put the ramp down on the rocks yet. I figure it's no big deal I went down the rocks for years without a ramp, it would be a piece of cake. I thought to myself I should have brought a flashlight, gee I should be careful, these rocks seem a bit wet...before those thoughts were even finished I found by self with one leg in the lake and the rest of me laying flat out on the rocks. I laid there for a minute and then began to laugh in pain, thinking how stupid can I be? As I pulled my aching carcass back up over the rocks I remembered my devo that morning from Psalm 119, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path" How funny but how true, there is spiritual application to be found in everything!

New Stuff?

This is just a post to say that I've updated this thing. There is so much going on right now, I'm almost grey. I still don't have New Orleans pictures (mom) so you'll just have to keep waiting. Oh, last weekend I went on a kick butt camping trip with some "peeps" and heard a bunch of great bands...Kultless, Barlow Girl (that was fun), John Ruben, DAVID CROWDER BAND (I love them), hummm....oh, Hawk Nelson, Skilett, Thousand Foot Krutch and maybe some others. Oh and there's always the story of the 2 songs by Reliant K who we waited all day to see and then they got rained out and almost electrocuted.
I'm ready to go home, only 15 more days and then its back to living in NS for the summer. Lots of new stuff but nothing too exciting, I'll have to make a constructive post when I'm not procrastinating and actually have free time...oh what a dream!
