Well folks I was reading my "friendly neighborhood Spider Dan's" blog today and remembered that I had Spring Break last week. Yep, that right it only ended 4 days ago but already I have forgotten what it’s like to be on break. This has been one mighty long week and an even longer semester. Where is the end? As in every other year of my "academic career" I always laugh at the end because somehow, clearly by God's grace, everything always gets done. This year will require extra perseverance as I am lacking authentic Tim Hortons coffee for my studying/procrastination routine. Somehow, even without the coffee be all over in only 32 more school days. Well, speaking about that break back so many days ago here are some pics from the Michigan/Chicago adventure:

The most precious baby in MI, who just so happens to not like being babysat by Aunt Jen. I can't get over how fast she's growing and how adorable she is. It was refreshing to spend time there once again.

We couldn't figure out what was up with all the green in the city (including this waterthing) as we got further into downtown Chicago we figured out that St. Pat's Day is a huge deal and they have a celebration every year the Sat. before the big day. There was an est. extra 2 million people in the downtown core that day. Making it a VERY intresting afternoon.

Christie Nockles (Watermark) lead worship and also spoke a few times onthe weekend. I was really encouraged by her willingness to be open and honest with us girls as to how God is changing her direction in minisrty.

Beth Moore!!! Wow, don't know what to say....she's even more passionate in person than during the video studies I've seen. She shared about being relevant in our culture and serving God for who he is not what he does-among many other topics. She's just one of those contagous people.
